Know where you actually stand.

Pura Hisab is a private ledger for your own money, in Nepali rupees. You enter what you earn and spend; it keeps the running total, the balance of every account, and the month-by-month picture.

Free while in beta. No card, no bank login.

What it keeps for you

Six things, each of which does one job properly.

  • Income and expenses

Enter what came in and what went out, with a category on each. The month's total is the sum of what you recorded — nothing more, nothing inferred.

  • Accounts that hold a balance

Cash, a bank account, a wallet — as many as you keep. Each carries its own running balance from an opening figure you set.

  • Transfers between your own accounts

Moving 5,000 from the bank to your wallet is one entry that leaves one balance and arrives at another. It is not income, not an expense, and it changes no month total.

  • A goal for the month

Set what you mean to spend, and see the month measured against it as it fills up.

  • Things that repeat

Rent, a salary, a subscription — set the rule once and the entries post themselves on their days. Best for amounts that do not change.

  • The month as a document

Download any month as a PDF: every row, the totals, and how the month sat against its goal.

Not connected to your bank. On purpose.

There is no bank login here, no wallet link, no eSewa. Every figure in Pura Hisab is one you typed, which is the whole design rather than a missing feature.

It means nothing is guessed on your behalf and no number appears that you did not put there. It also means there are no banking credentials to hold, and no third party sitting between you and your own records. What we store is the figures you enter and the email address you sign in with.

You can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app. It is one screen, it does not ask you to email anyone, and it does not keep a copy.

Start with this month.

Add what you have spent so far and the picture fills in from there. Nothing to import, nothing to connect.
